"Violation recorded during the OSCE Azeri-Armenian contact line monitoring"

14 December 2010 [17:15] - TODAY.AZ
The monitoring held on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces under a mandate of the OSCE chairman fixed a violation.

The monitoring held on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces outside the Kemerli village in the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan on Dec. 14 is regarded as completed, but the Armenian side was about 1-1.5 kilometers away from the earlier coordinated place, Deputy Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev said this fact may be regarded as a violation.

The monitoring was held on the Azerbaijani side by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative field assistants Imre Palatinus and Jaslan Nurtazin.

The monitoring was held on the opposite side, which the international community recognizes as Azerbaijani territory, by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk's field assistants Christo Christov, Antal Herdich and William Pryor.
