26 November 2010 [19:27] - TODAY.AZ
The Azerbaijani government adopted the "Rules of providing free medical services to pupils and students".

These rules have been made on the basis of Article 28.3 of the Law "Education". They define rules for providing free medical services to students and pupils, the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers said.

These rules apply to all educational institutions. The management of these institutions is responsible for their implementation. According to the rules, pupils in pre-school facilities and secondary schools are provided with free medical services in the health clinics located in their places of residence.

The students, studying in professional colleges, special and higher educational institutions residing in the territory, close to the institutions, are provided with free medical services by health clinics in their places of residence. Those, who live far from the institutions, are provided with free medical services by health clinics near the institutions.

If there is a medical unit in an educational institution, students and pupils are provided with free medical services in the medical unit. Free medical services must be provided to pupils and students in case of necessity in medical stationary facilities by getting the health clinic's order.
