Baku to host 15th session of CIS Intergovernmental Council

The 15th session of CIS Executive Committee`s Intergovernmental Council on Periodical stamp, book edition, distribution of books and polygraphy will be held in Baku late thsi month.

The four-day session is organized by Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Azerbaijan joined the Intergovernmental Council in 2005. It prepares important standard documents on periodical press, edition and distribution of books, promotion and protection of books, polygraphy, coordinates the exchange of printing editions among CIS member countries. The council is chaired by head of publication department at Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism Chingiz Alioglu.
