President Ilham Aliyev receives Polish deputy prime minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Polish Vice-Premier, Minister of Economy Valdemar Pawlak on Wednesday.
The Head of State expressed confidence that Polish Deputy Prime Minister`s trip to Azerbaijan would be successful. On the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Poland intergovernmental joint commission, the President noted the event is going to be a good forum for looking at issues concerning development of bilateral relations.

The Head of State expressed hope that active cooperation between the two nations would continue to develop.

The Polish official congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on implementation of successful construction and rebuilding projects in the country. He recalled his meetings with the Azerbaijani leader during the latter's Poland official visit.

Pawlak underlined the meeting of the intergovernmental commission would give an impetus to expansion of cooperation. The Minister found the need to outline areas of business cooperation, adding Polish businessmen are ready to work in Azerbaijan.

Aliyev said the projects to be presented at the Baku business forum would be interesting for Polish entrepreneurs.
