Italian deputy foreign minister to visit Azerbaijan next month

Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Alfredo Mantika is planning to visit Azerbaijan in early December, Italian ambassador in Azerbaijan Mario Baldi said.

The diplomat also said that Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini would pay visit to Azerbaijan next year. Though his visit was expected to take place this year, it had been delayed thereafter.

The ambassador noted that Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi was expected to visit Azerbaijan as well. But the date of the visit has not been fixed yet.
