Azerbaijan-Armenia peace group launched at Kingdom of Love

20 November 2010 [13:33] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan-Armenia peace group (whose mission is to build human communication and assist in resolving the conflict between the two nations peacefully) has been launched at the Kingdom of Love. The group's work, which envisages development and implementation of cultural, educational, informational, and economic projects, involves Azerbaijanis and Armenians from around the world.

According to kingdomoflove.org, all team members receive online trainings on globalistics, communication psychology and spiritual diplomacy. Working papers, ideas and proposals of the group are published and discussed at the forum of the Kingdom. Participation in the peacekeeping group is open to everybody who shares group’s ideas.

"Armenia and Azerbaijan should live side by side. Nobody can take away its land and move away to another parallel. Therefore, we must begin a dialogue ... We must talk and negotiate. We must break the wall of mistrust. This is a demand of the modern world. This is a demand of our children. If there is any chance to resolve the conflict peacefully, it should be used. To resolve this conflict peacefully requires both Armenians and Azerbaijanis more courage than war. This is the basic position of the group members," it says on a website.

The Kingdom of Love is a new subject of international law, similar to Vatican, established on January 1, 2010. This is the first country united not by the territorial principle, but by ideology. As a unique platform of neutral secular spirituality, Kingdom of Love advocates and actively applies the principles of spiritual peacemaking diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
