Azerbaijani premier meets Lebanese youth and sports minister

Rasizade told of what the Azerbaijani government had done in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

The Prime Minister also highlighted President Ilham Aliyev's care and attention towards developing sports.

“And it is what helps Azerbaijani sportsmen gain great successes in international competitions.”

Touching upon the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lebanon, Rasizade underlined the possibility of carrying out joint projects in economic, scientific, humanitarian and educational spheres.

For his part, Hussein Abdullah praised Azerbaijan's supporting Lebanon in international events.

The Lebanese Minister praised Azerbaijan`s economic development, saying “it is a good example for all countries in the region”.

He also highly appreciated what had been done in Azerbaijan in youth and sports sphere. The Minister also pointed out Azerbaijan would benefit from the “wise policy of the country`s leadership”.

They also discussed how to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Azerbaijan`s Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov was present at the meeting.
