Iran's President meets with chief of Caucasus Muslims Board

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with the head of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade on Thursday, the Iranian government told Trend.

At the meeting, Pashazade stressed the high level of the Azerbaijani-Iranian relations. According to Pashazade, even in the Soviet Union times, Azerbaijan's religious figures maintained the relations with their colleagues and Iran's senior clerics. Pashazade thanked Iran for its support to Azerbaijan's position in international organizations.
