Turkmen president arrives in Azerbaijan

Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov has today arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit, AzerTac state news agency reported.

A guard of honor was lined up for the Iranian leader at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with national flags of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan's President was welcomed here by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.

The Turkmen leader and Azerbaijan`s First Deputy Premier had a brief talk in the airport`s VIP room.
