Azerbaijan, Italy sign memorandum on cooperation

The Health Ministries of Azerbaijan and Italy have signed a memorandum on cooperation in health and medical sciences, the Azerbaijani embassy in Italy told Trend. The memorandum was undersigned by Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev and his Italian counterpart Ferruccio Fazio during Shiraliyev's visit to Italy.

During his visit, Shiraliyev has discussed with the Italian counterpart the bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine. He also visited a leading cancer center in Italy - Regina Elena Cancer Institute and familiarized with its activities.
