Azerbaijan's first lady visits Turkey - PHOTOS

First lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva has visited Ankara, Turkey, to attend an international conference on cultural heritage and music.

Along with Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, first ladies of Turkey, Latvia, Slovenia and Macedonia also attended the event. Azebaijan`s first lady made a speech at the conference.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bilkent University Ali Dogramacı presented keepsakes to the first ladies.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva visited the tomb of Ihsan Dogramaci, who was a friend of Azerbaijan`s people and national leader Heydar Aliyev. She signed a guest book there. During the visit, the Azebaijani first lady met Turkish counterpart Hayrunnisa Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s spouse Emine Erdogan.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva and first ladies of Latvia, Slovenia and Macedonia watched a concert of Azerbaijan`s mugham singer Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana in Bilkent University.
