CIS Executive Secretary arrives in Azerbaijan

Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Sergei Lebedev has arrived in Azerbaijan's capital. Lebedev is leading a 400-man CIS observation mission, which will monitor the November 7 parliamentary elections.

He will have meetings at the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also will visit several constituencies. A day after the elections, the mission will issue a statement on results of their monitoring.
