Azerbaijan's CEC completes delivering ballots to constituencies

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has handed over ballots to almost all constituencies, CEC Spokesman Azer Sariyev  told Trend on Wednesday. Based on the CEC action plan, Nov.3 is deadline for delivering ballots to constituencies, he said.

Azerbaijan printed 5 million ballots for the upcoming parliamentary elections. 3% more ballots was printed than the actual number of voters in accordance with the Azerbaijani Electoral Code. The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
