Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission registers 991 international observers

Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 991 international observers from 51 countries and 11 media outlets to monitor parliamentary elections.

The CEC registered 3406 local observes and constituency election commissions 31160 ones. Of them, 3784 are representatives of NGOs, 7255 - political parties and blocs of political parties. International observers represent OSCE/ODIHR, CIS monitoring mission, PACE and Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking countries.
