27 October 2010 [11:30] - TODAY.AZ
Turkey's state minister for foreign trade visited Nakhchivan Parliament on Tuesday. Zafer Caglayan had a meeting with Parliament Speaker Vasif Talibov of Nakhchivan.

"Turkish businessmen and chairmen of chambers of commerce and industry, particularly those who are living in the eastern Anatolia, will have talks in Nakhichevan and sign agreements," Caglayan told after the meeting.

Caglayan said Turkey would help Nakhichevan get developed, and invest in that country, whereas Talibov said Nakhchivan used to purchase electricity from Turkey until two years ago.

"We are now paying back the electricity we have purchased, and unemployment rate has declined thanks to factories opened," Talibov said. Talibov also said Turkish investments had giant investments in Nakhchivan.
