The resolving process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as, the implementation of the [Turkish-Armenian] protocols are not in the interests of Armenia, head of the Turkish Center for International Relations and Strategic Analysis (TÜRKSAM), chairman of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Circle, (TAD) Sinan Ogan said during his speech to the World Turkic forum in Istanbul on Friday, accordimg to Azerbaijan State Committee for Diaspora.
The first World Turkic Forum was held in Istanbul from 20 to 22 October. The event was attended by representatives of the Turkic Diasporas from 60 countries.
"Armenia and the Armenian diaspora are going to celebrate in 2015 a century of so-called "Armenian genocide" Therefore, they will use all possibilities to prevent the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", Ogan said.
According to him, if this conflict was resolved the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations would begin.
"In this case, the world will tell Armenia - your problem is solved. And then will come the image of "poor, oppressed people". This is why Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora will hinder the settlement process", Ogan said.
According to him, the next 4 years the Armenians will use all available means to ensure that the world has recognized the so-called "genocide".
Armenia claims that the Ottoman Empire committed "genocide" against Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915. Making greater efforts to promote the issue internationally, Armenians have achieved its recognition by parliaments in some countries.
