Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets U.S. Treasury Under Secretary

Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with the US delegation led by US Treasury Under Secretary Stuart Levey on October 19. The sides discussed Azerbaijan-US relations, development of bilateral economic cooperation and regional issues.

The Azeri minister said the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and occupation of Azerbaijani lands were threat to regional progress. The officials of the two countries also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
