Ban Ki-moon: UN ready to contribute in resolving Nagorno-Karabakh conflict"

The UN is ready to contribute to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, said at a press conference after the ceremony of the 60-th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights.

"Today there are many conflicts in the world. These conflicts, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, must be resolved through a dialogue and peacefully," he said.

He said that the UN is ready to contribute to the peaceful settlement of the protracted Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, mediating by the OSCE Minsk Group.
