Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission holds regular session

As is reported, the session considered the appeals received by the Commission in connection with forthcoming elections to Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic. Five appeals were satisfied, and the earlier decision of corresponding district election commissions were cancelled and made decision about registration of candidates.

Term of studying of four appeals was prolonged, while other appeals were not satisfied because of groundlessness.

CEC also considered current issues. Representatives of the ODIHR observation mission, the Baku office of OSCE and mass-media were also participating in the session.
