Azerbaijan's top diplomat receives NCSJ chairman

Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met Wednesday Richard Stone, chairman of the National Conference for Jews in Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States and Eurasia (NCSJ). Stone said Azerbaijan was developing rapidly. He pointed out tolerance in the country had deep historical roots.

Mammadyarov, in turn, said tolerance was one of the main treasures of the Azerbaijani people. He underlined for centuries Jews live peacefully in Azerbaijan. The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
