13 October 2010 [13:30] - TODAY.AZ
The Azerbaijani Parliament holds discussions over the draft 2011-state budget on Wednesday.
"The draft 2011-state budget meets today's requirements," MP Aydin Mirzezade said. "The increase of the military capacity is a priority of the country, which is in a state of war."

Mirzezade expressed hope that the budget also took into account the increase of wages of workers of the education and health spheres.

MP Musa Guliyev believes the 2011-state budget will ensure the successful socio-economic development. "About ten state programs have been realized in the health sector of Azerbaijan. We need to expand the compulsory health insurance and involve the civil servants in it in 2011," he said.

In turn, MP Nasib Nasibli considered as insufficient the funds envisaged in the draft 2011-state budget for education. According to him, they increased by 7% compared to 2010, despite the many problems in this area.
