Baku hosts conference of Socialist International attended by Armena's Dashnaktsutyun party representatives - UPDATE

The representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation 'Dashnaktsutyun' attended the conference. A regional conference of the Socialist International in the CIS, the Caucasus and the Caspian Basin, started in Baku on Monday.

The representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation "Dashnaktsutyun", including bureau member Mario Nalbandian and Head of the Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan, arrived in Baku to attend the conference. After the lunch they will participate in the conference.

Member of the Bureau of Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) Mario Nalbandian and head of the Bureau’s Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan have arrived in Azerbaijan.

APA reports quoting Novosti-Armenia agency that Nalbandian and Manoyan are participating in the Socialist International’s regional meeting on CIS, Caucasus and Black Sea. Vice-president of the Socialist International Maria Titizian said they did not face a problem at Baku airport, but as Mario Nalbandian is the citizen of Argentina the solution of the visa problem took some time. The Baku meeting of the Socialist International will last for two days (October 11-12).

Socialist International is a nongovernmental organization. 156 parties from 126 countries are represented in the organization.
