Ilham Aliyev receives MG OSCE co-chairs' assessment mission, Minsk group's co-chairs and special representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received members of OSCE Minsk group co-chairs` assessment mission to Nagorno-Karabakh adjacent regions, Minsk group`s co-chairs Igor Popov of Russia, Robert Bradtke of US and Bernard Fassier of France as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

The President described the OSCE assessment mission`s visit as a positive factor. Aliyev recalled an OSCE Minsk group fact-finding mission`s visit to the occupied territories in 2005, praising the mission`s report highlighting the damages there.

The President praised the fact representatives of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees were also included in the assessment mission. President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope the mission`s current visit would mark an unbiased report featuring a factual highlight of illegal settlements and damages on the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

The members of the OSCE assessment mission informed the Azerbaijani President of their further plans.
