OSCE Observation Mission familiarizes with pre-election situation in Azerbaijani region

The OSCE Observation Mission exchanged views on an election and political situation, the percentage of participation of women and youth in elections and election activity in the regional office of the Association for Civil Society Development (ACSDA) in Khachmaz region.

Representatives of the mission were informed about the preparatory work carried out by ACSDA to observe the elections in all constituencies located in Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Shabran and Siyazyan regions.

The OSCE Observation Mission was also informed about the social staff of ACSDA observers, trainings organized for observers, memorial books prepared for the observers, etc. Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan on November 7, 2010.
