Azerbaijani, Armenian delegations meet in PACE

On Tuesday, on the second working day of the PACE autumn session, a meeting of delegations of Azerbaijan and Armenia took place on the restoration of the activities of the Ad Hoc Committee on Nagorno-Karabakh.

The meeting was held at the initiative of PACE Chairman Mevlut Cavushoglu. It was attended by head of Azerbaijani delegation Samed Seyidov and member of the delegation Sabir Hajiyev. From Armenia the meeting was attended by the head of the delegation of this country David Harutyunyan and his deputy Armen Rustamyan.

In addition, the meeting was attended by PACE Secretary General Matthias Sorinas.

After the meeting, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told reporters that in the talks it was decided to continue such contacts. Also, the parliamentarians of the two countries came to the decision that a new meeting between the two delegations will take place on Oct. 7. After that, the press will be provided with the information on the subject.
