Delegation of Turkish parliament is on a visit to Azerbaijan

Eight-man delegation consisting of chiefs ad deputy chiefs of Turkish parliament’s departments for International Relations and Protocol, Legislation, Work with Media, Work with Permanent Committees, Cooperation with International Organizations has arrived in Azerbaijan, International Secretariat of Turkish-Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly (TurkPA) reported.

The delegation of the Turkish parliament will exchange experience in the committees and departments of the Azerbaijani parliament, attend seminars, and familiarize with the activity of the parliament. The visit will last till October 10. Turkish delegation will visit the office of the International Secretariat of TurkPA and attend the seminars on the Assembly’s activity. Moreover, the Turkish parliament’s delegation will visit Shaki to familiarize with the historical, cultural monuments and regions of Azerbaijan.

Assistant Secretary General of TurkPA Kurshat Melih Sariarslan will be coordinator of the project on behalf of TurkPA. Head of the Azerbaijani parliament’s administration Safa Mirzayev will present certificates to the persons, who attended the exchange program.
