Azerbaijani president's official video channel begins operating on YouTube

Given the global technological development and increasing importance of the Internet, the official website of the President of Azerbaijan constantly presents new opportunities to network users.

Over recent months, the site design has been updated upon the latest technologies, the version of the site for schoolchildren has been prepared. Also the official website of the President of Azerbaijan began operating on the popular social networking site Twitter.

For İPhone users, a special platform of the site has been created and many new features have been added.

Given the importance of multimedia in a dynamic information space, the official video channel of Azerbaijani President began operating on YouTube, which was achieved through an official agreement with this popular site. Among CIS countries, the official video channels on YouTube are only available for Russian and Azerbaijani presidents.

The difference between a regular user of video channels and presidential video channel is that the design of the page of the video channel of the Azerbaijani President is fully integrated with the design of the official website of the president, and also all restrictions on the size and duration of the video have been eliminated.

Negotiations are continuing between the Presidential Administration and YouTube. Large-scale projects are expected to be realized in cooperation with YouTube.
