Azerbaijani Navy Commander discusses regional security issues in Pakistan

Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov, Commander Azerbaijan Naval Forces called on General Tariq Majid, Chairman Joint of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarter, Chaklala and exchanged views on the regional security situation, bilateral defense cooperation and other matter of professional interest.

The delegation led by Vice Admiral Sultanov arrived in Pakistan on Monday. Admiral Sultanov also offered condolences over the loss of precious lives, expressed solidarity and pledged support from public and Government of Azerbaijan to the flood victims.

General Tariq Majid while conveying good wishes for the people and government of Azerbaijan, thanked for assistance of $ 2 million and goods worth $ 0.69 million for flood relief activities.
