Ukraine sales 47 mechanized howitzers to Azerbaijan in two years

Ukraine’s Kharkov Tractor Plant sold 47 mechanized howitzers 2S1 “Gvozdika” to Azerbaijan in the past two years. 18 howitzers were handed over to the client in March-December, 2008 according to the agreement signed in 2008. Other howitzers were delivered to Azerbaijan in February-November, 2009, according to Ukrainian newspapers.
