Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will launch a two-day state visit to Uzbekistan on Monday, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
President Aliyev and the delegation accompanying him will be received at President Islam Karimov's resident in Kuksaroy, where will be held a solemn meeting ceremony of the distinguished guest.
Following the ceremony, the presidents will hold a one-on-one meeting, after which the negotiations would continue in an expanded format. The presidents will mull the development of Uzbek-Azerbaijan political, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation, as well as topical regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Following the talks, the sides are expected to sign several bilateral documents aimed at deepening cooperation in various fields.
