Department of State supports Matthew Bryza's nomination as U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan

The U.S. Department of State supports Matthew Bryza’s nomination as the US ambassador to Azerbaijan. The Voice of America radio sent a questionnaire to the Department of State concerning the vetoing of Matthew Bryza’s nomination by senators Barbara Boxer and Robert Menendez.

The Department of State said in its reply to the questionnaire: “He has got the experience necessary for this post. The Department of State hopes that the Senate will confirm Matthew Bryza’s nomination as soon as possible.”
