Azerbaijan's electoral chief meets U.S. charge d'affaires

Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has met U.S. Charge d`Affaires in Azerbaijan Adam Sterling. Panahov said US and Azerbaijan were friendly countries and strategic partners. Sterling stressed US embassy in the country and the Central Election Commission enjoy close cooperation.

The US diplomat enquired about pre-election situation. They also discussed cooperation between the Central Election Commission and the US Embassy on incoming elections.
