Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents met in Istanbul

Presidents Abdullah Gul of Turkey and Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan met Wednesday at the Chiragan Palace in Istanbul. The parties expressed their satisfaction with successful development of friendly relations between the two countries in a variety of fields.

They highlighted the importance of the tenth summit of heads of Turkish-speaking countries. The Presidents underlined the event would help expand cooperation among Turkish-speaking states. Prospects for cooperation between both countries was also discussed at the meeting.
