
Azerbaijan and Turkey will today sign a treaty to establish Strategic Cooperation Council in Istanbul.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Chiragan Palace in Istanbul later today. The meeting will be followed by signing of the treaty to establish Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries, Milliyet reports quoting Turkish Cabinet of Ministers as saying.
On the same day, Prime Minister Erdogan will host an official reception in honor of heads of states of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, participants of the Istanbul summit of the Turkic speaking nations.
