CEC: Candidates' posters to be distributed in Azerbaijan soon

Posters of candidates standing in Azerbaijan's upcoming parliamentary elections will be distributed soon. The Central Election Commission has already placed an order for the posters, CEC spokesman Azer Sariyev said. He said that the posters will be distributed in constituencies that will place them in crowded places.

"Depending on their type, the number of posters will be between 20,000 and 30,000 units. The posters are intended to be distributed throughout the country," he said.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
