Barack Obama congratulates Ilham Aliyev

President of the United States Barack Obama has sent a congratulatory message to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Ramadan holiday.

The letter says: “On behalf of the American people, I extend to you and the people of Azerbaijan best wishes as you celebrate the special occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

As the holy month of Ramadan concludes, it is my hope that this month has brought with it a time of peaceful reflection and sharing with family and loved ones. May you and your people enjoy peace, health and prosperity in the coming year. Eid Mubarak”, the letter underlines.
