The 11th meeting of Azerbaijan-EU Cooperation Committee was held in Brussels on September 10.

Azerbaijan's governmental and parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev attended the event.
The discussions focused on a number of questions including fulfillment of Azerbaijan-EU Action Plan as part of the European Neighborhood Policy, Azerbaijan's stance on the Progress report on the implementation of the plan in 2009, draft association agreement within the Eastern Partnership Program, human rights and democracy, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, economic, trade and energy cooperation.
A final decision was adopted during the meeting on establishment of Azerbaijan-EU subcommittees on justice, freedom, security, human rights and democracy, employment, social issues, public healthcare, education and youth, culture, information society and audio-visual policy, science and technology.
