Azerbaijan's parliamentary speaker meets Dutch counterpart

Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov and his Dutch Counterpart Rene Van der Linden mulled expansion of cooperation between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan on Sept.8. During the meeting, Asadov noted that Linden's visit will give impetus to the Azerbaijani-Dutch cooperation.

In turn, Linden named expansion of inter-parliamentary and bilateral economic ties between the two countries as the "main aim" of his visit. He noted, that the opening of the Dutch embassy in Azerbaijan during the global financial crisis proves his country's interest in cooperation with Baku.
