Another park opens in Baku under Heydar Aliyev Foundation's auspices

Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva inspected a newly reconstructed park in the capital's Narimanov district on Tuesday.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalybov said the park, whose total area is 14,000 square meters, was reconstructed in 3 months. The park's green area is 8,000 square meters, which features nearly ten thousand decorative trees and shrubs.

The park got new benches, a new fountain complex and Italian-made lighting system.
Buildings adjacent to the park were also reconstructed, with the nearby roads resurfaced with new asphalt.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation's President praised the new look of the park. Mehriban Aliyeva expressed hope the park will be an invaluable place for local residents' leisure and pleasure.
