Azerbaijani ambassador meets with new chairman of South Korean ruling party

Azerbaijan's ambassador to South Korea, Rovshan Jamshidov, has met with newly appointed chairman of the Hannara ruling party, Ahn Sang-su, the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Korea said. During the course of the meeting, the officials made note of the high level of economic relations between South Korea and Azerbaijan, which, they said, is a result of successful and consistent policies on the part of the presidents of both countries.

Ambassador Jamshidov briefed Chairman Ahn about the status of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, underlining the positive actions taken by the Azerbaijani leadership to solve the problem peacefully while maintaining the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
