
The next, 11th meeting of an EU-Azerbaijan cooperation committee will be held in Brussels on Sept. 10, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend today. Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev. The implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy's EU-Azerbaijan Individual Partnership Action Plan will be discussed at the meeting.
The sides will also discuss Azerbaijan's position on issues related to negotiating an association agreement, the human rights situation in the country and democratization, economic issues, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Subcommittees on justice, freedom, security, human rights and democracy, and employment and social affairs, public health, education, youth, information society, audiovisual policy, science and technology will also be established.
