Monument to Heydar Aliyev to be erected in Odessa

This decision has been reportedly voiced by Eduard Gurvits, mayor of Odessa, during his meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli, who has arrived in Odessa to take part in the Odessa city Day.

“We were considering the possibility of putting a monument to Heydar Aliyev. The Azeri Diaspora is making a large contribution into the development of our city. Now it remained only to discuss when and in which district the monument will stand”, said Gurvits.
