Baku to host TurkPA's informal meeting

Baku will host an informal meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA).
"An informal meeting of heads of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the Senate of Kazakhstan and the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will be held on Sept. 20," TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov told journalists today.

TurkPA, founded in mid-2009, brings together Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Hasanov said the meeting in Baku aims to prepare for the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Astan in March 2011.
