One of the streets in Chechnya to be named after Heydar Aliyev

One of the streets in Grozny (Chechnya) will be named after Azerbaijani former president, and national leader Heydar Aliyev, said Chechnya's president Ramzan Kadyrov in an interview to Azerbaijani television.

"We've come up with a decision to name a street in Grozny after Heydar Aliyev, a man we all respect, a politician, and a national leader of Azerbaijan," Kadyrov said.

"Heydar Aliyev was good friends with my father, the first president of Chechnya, Ahmat-Haji Kadyrov. He would be a frequent quest at our house. They've had great relationships," Kadyrov added.
