"Kuwait attaches special importance to relations with Azerbaijan"

Shahin Abdullayev spoke of the role of the legislative bodies in development of relations between the two countries, expressed gratitude for condemnation of the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan he made at the news conference.

Mr. Waleed Tabatabai stressed the necessity of liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani lands and paying compensation to the people who suffered from this aggression.

Shahin Abdullayev said the members of the Kuwait-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group were invited to visit Azerbaijan in September current year, reminded Kuwait's humanitarian assistance to Azerbaijan in the hard 90s last century.

Tabatabai thanked for invitation and expressed hope to meet in Baku.

He wished success to Abdullayev in his new diplomatic appointment.
