Egyptian embassy in Baku organizes reception to mark country's Revolution Day

On July 19, Egyptian Embassy in Azerbaijan organized an official reception to mark the country's public holiday - Revolution Day.
Opening the event, Ambassador Sabir Abdulgadir Mansur briefed the participants on the history of his country. He said Egypt had taken a worthy place in the world community.

Touching upon relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, the Ambassador said they are successfully developing in political, economic and humanitarian areas.

According to him, the two countries' leaders contribute to boosting bilateral relationship even more.

The diplomat noted relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt would continue to serve interests of the two countries' peoples.

Attending the event, Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev congratulated the Egyptian people on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.

The Minister said cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt had long history.

Mustafayev pointed out the two countries have signed several documents which constitute legal basis for expansion of bilateral economic cooperation.

He underlined reciprocal visits contribute to boosting ties between the two countries, as well.

The event was attended by officials, foreign ambassadors accredited in Baku and others.
