Caspian countries will sign documents in the field of ecology in September, UN Environment Programme (UNEP) regional director for Europe Christophe Bouvier told the media.
"The five Caspian littoral countries will sign documents relating to the impact of human activities on the environment in Kazakhstan in September", Bouvier said.
He said that the conference of Caspian countries, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Iran will be organized with the support of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
"All these five countries have common positions. Biodiversity and pollution of coastal resources are discussed now," Bouvier said.
