Azerbaijani Chairman of State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations meets Iranian Minister of Islamic Guidance and Culture

Chairman of Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations Hidayet Orujov has met with Iranian minister of Islamic Guidance and Culture Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini. The two praised Azerbaijan-Iran relations in various fields, in particular the cultural one.

Orujov said President Ilham Aliyev attaches “huge” importance to cooperation with Iran. The chairman of the Committee stated that the visit by the Iranian minister would contribute to further developing the cultural ties between the two nations. Hosseini hailed “rapid” development of Azerbaijan, adding “the Iranian people are very much interested in achievements of Azerbaijan”.
