European Commission's President to visit Azerbaijan

As part of his trip to the South Caucasus region, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso will visit Azerbaijan this autumn.

During the visit, Barroso will meet Azerbaijani officials to discuss a number of issues including cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU, the official Baku`s participation in the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership programs, democratic and economic reforms in the country and settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
