Azerbaijani ambassador to Great Britain gave an interview to "Open Central Asia"

Azerbaijani ambassador to Great Britain, Fakhraddin Gurbanov gave an interview to "Open Central Asia", according to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Great Britain.
The ambassador spoke about the relations between the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as the activities undertaken to promote business ties between Great Britain and Azerbaijan, the report said. He said that the activity of British-Azerbaijan Business Council and visits of trade missions, consisting of British businessmen will be a significant impetus to the business ties between the two countries.

The Ambassador spoke about the energy potential of our country. He said that Azerbaijan has a multi-pronged infrastructure of energy export. The country increased its weight in the energy supply not only for the region but also Europe. The Ambassador said that the transportation projects within the restoration of the ancient Silk Road, developed at the initiative of Azerbaijan, including the project of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will have a positive impact on the transportation of goods between countries of the Far East and the West.

The Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains the biggest source of instability, the ambassador said. He said that a peaceful solution of this conflict is important. The status quo poses a serious threat to regional stability. Efforts of the international community in the peaceful settlement of the conflict are important. This publication gives information about Baku for visitors. The information about holding of holiday Novruz, organized by the Embassy, in the British parliament in March was also given.
